WordPress 5.9.3 - Maintenance release

Νέα αναβάθμιση ασφαλείας για το WordPress διέθεσε η κοινότητα του CMS και συγκεκριμένα την 5.9.3, η οποία περιλαμβάνει 9 επιλύσεις σφαλμάτων (bug fixes) στο Core της εφαρμογής και 10 στον block editor.
Πιο αναλυτικά, η νέα έκδοση του Wordpress 5.9.3 περιλαμβάνει διορθώσεις στα ακόλουθα σφάλματα που εντόπισαν οι χρήστες της εφαρμογής.
Διορθώσεις Bugs στο Core της εφαρμογής:
- Filesystem API: Include the ssh-ed25519 public key signature algorithm as an alternative to ssh-rsa
- Themes: Hide block themes live preview link following installation
- Administration: Do not specify menu order for the Widgets menu when the active theme is a block theme
- Customizer: When a block theme is active, add an information about Site Editor in the Customizer
- Media: Make get_post_galleries() only return galleries
- Themes: Avoid undefined variable warning on get_svg_filters()
- Editor: Fix broken asset URLs when using WP outside of the regular directory
- Editor: Optimize preload paths for post and site editors
- Update WordPress packages for 5.9.3
Διορθώσεις Bugs στον block editor:
- Adds aria-label to the search button, as accessibility enhancement
- Template List: Decode entities in record titles
- Use wp_unique_id() instead of uniqid() to generate CSS class names
- Cover block: Fix gradient overlay (remove black background color)
- Try: Fix image responsive rules
- Fixes #38761 by removing obsolete ::before pseudo element
- Avoid error when ‘styles’ settings are removed
- Change location of block support styles in <head>
- Image: Restore baseline responsiveness in the block
- Fix: Table block doesn’t keep background color
